Jeremiah 1

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, ² to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. ³ It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

The Prophet Is Called

⁴ Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

⁵ “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

⁶ Then said I:

“Ah, Lord God!
Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”

⁷ But the Lord said to me:

“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
⁸ Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.

⁹ Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:

“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
¹⁰ See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.”

¹¹ Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”

And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
¹² Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”
¹³ And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?”
And I said, “I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.”
¹⁴ Then the Lord said to me:

“Out of the north calamity shall break forth
On all the inhabitants of the land.
¹⁵ For behold, I am calling
All the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the Lord;
“They shall come and each one set his throne
At the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem,
Against all its walls all around,
And against all the cities of Judah.
¹⁶ I will utter My judgments
Against them concerning all their wickedness,
Because they have forsaken Me,
Burned incense to other gods,
And worshiped the works of their own hands.

¹⁷ “Therefore prepare yourself and arise,
And speak to them all that I command you.
Do not be dismayed before their faces,
Lest I dismay you before them.
¹⁸ For behold, I have made you this day
A fortified city and an iron pillar,
And bronze walls against the whole land—
Against the kings of Judah,
Against its princes,
Against its priests,
And against the people of the land.
¹⁹ They will fight against you,
But they shall not prevail against you.
For I am with you,” says the Lord, “to deliver you.”

Went up to God

Have to go to heaven
To search

Find Him
He sent

To meet

I felt Him

In His arms

Note:Written in facebook notes September 12, 2010 at 11:15am The enemy of my soul .. tries to rob me of my time with God.. by hounding me.. about missing Church.. I love Church and love to have corporate prayer and praise.. but there are days..when I need to find God on my own .. When I just need to spend time alone .. We all need these days.. It is scary to know some people can not find God.. on their own.. but only when others are around .. I pray others can find What I found .. It is a peaceful sound .. of God... saying.. My good and faithful servant .. child of mine.. you are not alone.. you have met with me today at my throne .. I love God and will serve  Him .. all of my days.. with my words.. my actions and my Praise ... Love LisaMe .. your sister friend  .. I am happy to pray with, and for you any day ... If you need Jesus in this way.. Please let me know.. and I will pray ..

Note:  This inspiration was written for a poetry site.. contest .. What was your favorite toy as a child .. This is what came to mind .. It is amazing how we think back on our child hood .. and the things that we played with and or that were so important to us .. I sang these songs and pantomimed them which brought much laughter not only from my little brother and older sisters.. but also from my mother .. being so young I do not know that I truly understood .. the impact this had on our family or the true amount of Joy that was being filled into our lives at that time .. I think I just enjoyed being silly .. we laughed so hard our bellies hurt .. I sang these same songs to my children as they grew up .. And today my daughter sings them with her children ..  Prompting me to write a Moo~autiful story for my grandson .. since his mother gave him a nick name from the songs .. Words really do have an impact on our lives .. Your prompt to write about our favorite  toy as a child .. my poem may be better suited for a different contest .. But it sure brought a smile to my heart this morning .. God Bless you

Philippians 4:6

Deuteronomy 33:26-28

 “There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, Who rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlastingarms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, ‘Destroy!’ Then Israel shall dwell in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew.

Note: Praying over my family .. I trust the Lord to provide and protect .. and to bring total and complete healing .. Having faith and trust in the Lord .. is who I am .. it brings me great peace .. when I pray .. I Love the Lord more than my words can say .. He is my strength .. when I am weak .. It is the Lord alone who .. delivers me .. from my fears .. I know that everything that I go through .. I am not alone .. the Lord my God is always with me .. because I go to Him .. I depend on Him .. I do not have to understand everything .. I just am called to Trust .. and I do .. Trust God with my life and with the life of my children ..  I write and share how the holy spirit gives it to me .. straight from the heart ... I pray you will receive some healing .. from the message you read.. don't just read it .. hear it in your spirit .. Love LisaMe!
