Life was Special Way back Then

When we were young
And you were my friend

Me and Kelli
Were the best of friends
We were unseparatable
Way back then

We grew up
Life
Got in the way
So we do not talk
Much today

But there are
Sweet memories
We will never forget

 Life goes on
And we all grow up
We put new memories on
Ya know the Grown up stuff

But each year
On this day
My memory
Lingers here

I think of you
And the love we shared
And was so very grateful
That you were there
To share Happy Memories with me

I am healed of this deep hurt
When we had to let
Liza go away
To heaven to live and to play
I pray your heart has healed too
It was easier for me because of you

You are in My Love Tree
Planted deep with in
My childhood memories

He became real to me; through the years of seeking Him; Learning how to share Him with others; so they could truly know Him and experience His Love; without pretense.
